Membership/Marketing Coordinator Sought

Exercise your creativity as the

Membership/Marketing Coordinator for a growing, nonprofit professional association based in Louisville, Kentucky. Our members are individuals in the healthcare industry. You will coordinate all aspects of internal communication and program marketing. You will develop and implement membership recruitment, engagement, and retention plan based on best practices.

We are a small shop, your hire will double our staff.  You'll report to the Executive Director, and work with volunteer leaders as well as contract professionals in public relations, graphic design, advocacy, and meeting planning.

This is a salaried, full-time position. Compensation includes an allowance for your choice of health benefits. Other benefits include two weeks paid time off, continuing education and professional association membership. You will also receive mentoring that will position you for a great future here and beyond.

Starting salary in mid twenties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (60%)
· Member communications - web, mobile, social media, email, and print 
· Membership recruitment, engagement, and retention
· Marketing - all aspects
· Manage fund drive for PR endeavors
· Data reporting and analysis

OTHER DUTIES (40%)
· Backup customer service
· Minor clerical and bookkeeping 
· As yet unforeseen opportunities

REQUIREMENTS
· Exceptional written and oral communication skills
· Ability to read quickly and summarize effectively
· Ability to work with minimal supervision from your home
· High speed internet access
· Smart phone
· Car
· Education or experience directly related to responsibilities
· Dedicated office space at home
· Net savvy
· Overnight travel - 5-6 nights per year
